I come to your place of Business or Home and either fix it on the spot or bring it in to perform more difficult diagnostics. Currently I offer computer service to Genesee County, Michigan.

Commercial:
$55.00 - This is a flat fee for driving out
$45.00 - Every hour
&
Residential:
$55.00 - This is a flat fee for driving out and also includes the first hour of service
$45.00 - Every hour past the first hour on a per hour
I do not charge by type of service, I charge by time. For example, if I work on a computer for a residential customer for any amount of time up to 1 hour the total cost would be $55. If the service call requires more time than 1 hour and I spend, say, 15 minutes extra, then the cost would be $66.25 for 1 hour and 15 minutes work. The $55 charge for the service call and $11.25 for the 15 minutes I spent over the first hour. I have found that this pricing structure is fair because if I spent that extra 15 minutes and charged for the whole hour, it would not be fair to, you. Sometimes the computer will require me to bring it back with me for certain diagnostic tests or more difficult procedures that cannot be accomplished on location. Please be aware that this might happen and charges will still be billed appropriately.
